This "Notification for the newsletter service” document, in conformity to the general data protection regulation, describes how to register for the website's newsletter service, and how the personal data of registered users of this service is processed.

This is notification provided in terms of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), the Provisions by the GDPR Authority and other regulations related to the protection of data, applicable to those who register for this website's newsletter, which can be accessed telematically via the address http://www.assofishingline.com (or http://shop.assofishingline.it) which corresponds to the website's home page.


This notification is provided solely for this website and not for other websites as well that the user may browse using the links contained on the website itself.

1. How to register
To register for the newsletter it is not necessary to register on the website and create a user account. The user need simply enter their e-mail address in the relevant field in the footer of the pages and, having perused this notification, express their consent to processing of their personal data. Likewise, it is also possible to register for the newsletter during the process for registering on the website. Once registered for the service, the user will receive a confirmation e-mail that, among other things, contains a link that makes it possible to cancel registration for the service.

3. Categories of personal data
The data processed is the personal data provided / being provided by the user (e-mail address and language used when browsing the website, detected automatically) to receive the Data Controller's newsletter, for the purpose of promoting products marketed by the same and, in any case, of commercial promotion and marketing. A user may only provide their own data and may not provide data on behalf of third parties.

4. Purpose of processing and transferring of data
The purpose of processing consists of periodic transmission to the e-mail address indicated by the user (and therefore activities carried out using e-mail), of communications and informative material, with the purpose of promoting the products marketed by the Data Controller and, in any case, of commercial promotion and marketing.
The Data Controller does not transfer data outside the EU. Nevertheless they reserve the option to use cloud services. In this case, the service providers will be selected from those who provide adequate guarantees, as called for by art. 46 GDPR 679/16. Therefore, processing will take place in accordance with one of the modes permitted by the current regulations.

5. Legal basis for processing
Processing of all data (e-mail address and language used when browsing the website) for sending the communications referred to above, is based on prior consent.

6. Possible consequences of failure to communicate the data
Providing data for this purpose and related consent are optional and any refusal will not have any consequences, other than that of not being able to receive the newsletter described above.

7. Recipients

10. Revoking consent
The person involved has the right to freely revoke their consent free of charge at any time, by simply clicking the relevant space in the e-mails, or by writing to the Data Controller using the contact details provided above. Revocation does not prejudice the licitness of processing based on consent prior to such revocation.

11. Right to lay a complaint
The person involved has a right to lay a complaint with the Authority for the protection of personal data.

12. Automated decision-making process, including profiling
No automated decision-making processes and/or profiling is carried out.

13. Other purposes
Should the Data Controller intend to process the data further, for a purpose other than that for which it was gathered, before such further processing, they are to provide the person involved with information on said other purpose, and any other pertinent information.

14. Updating
The Data Controller has the right to edit and amend this notification, at any time. The Data Controller therefore urges their users to visit the website regularly and to peruse the notification on processing of their data, so that they are always up to date on the data gathered and the use the Data Controller makes of the same.
